David Edelman, M.D.

Dr. Edelman, a native of Detroit, received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and did his surgical and research residency training at the Detroit Medical Center.

Dr. Edelman specializes in Bariatric Surgery including the laparoscopic gastric band (Lap-Band®) and Minimally Invasive Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery.

Dr. Edelman has published numerous abstracts and articles and is a member of several medical societies and associations including the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the Michigan State Medical Society.
